It appears I did this hike back on May 10th, 2014. We turned around before everyone else so that we could get back in time to go to a Royals game that night. That was a game that Yordano Ventura pitched.
This time was a hot one. It got up into the mid-80s. We saw only a tiny patch of snow.
Lots of snow runoff
My GPS had us at just under 12 miles. We turned around at the Falls Creek trail at a rather large stream that we could have crossed but decided not.
Out and back
The elevation gain is very gentle.
Up and down
We saw a lot of trillium (trillia?). Tons of them.
Trillium
Because it has been warm this hike was about water. The trail was muddy in a few places with runoff streams flowing across and along.
The creek was high and the upper portions had cascades.
This is where we turned around
A very pleasant hike.
