This article about church dog whippers that came up in my RSS feed this morning tripped a memory for me from last year when we went on a biking trip in the Netherlands.
We visited a church in Haarlem that had a carving of a dog whipper. I even took a photo of it
Why is he worrying about the dog while he’s stepping over a DRAGON!!!
Sure enough, the article talks about that very church and has a similar picture.
